Robin Towle-FecsoCreative/Business Partner

Robin graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2000 with a B.A. degree in Graphic/Informational Design.  She then saw an opportunity for good design growth by moving to Stamford, Connecticut. It was in this location that Robin was fortunate enough to work with two well-known graphic design agencies in the East Norwalk and Westport areas.

Modem Media gave her great knowlege in online advertising and dynamic website projects for Fortune 100 and 500 companies, such as: IBM, Kraft Foods, UBS Warburg, Weight Watchers, John Hancock, GM, Citibank's original drive-to-web inititives and the nationally known JCPenney's “It’s All Inside” campaign.  Robin then worked for Alden Image Network.  This interactive creative agency gave her the experience in all facets of design with mixed print and web-based media projects for high-profile client trade shows and events, like; Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Honeywell, Bayer, MassMutual, UBS Warburg, ING, ESPN, Coca-Cola and Guinness.  After several years building her resume down in southern Connecticut, Robin returned to Hartford.

She then gained more knowledge with designing online tools and web/print integration projects for clients, such as; Bank of America, The Connecticut Forum, Beardsley Zoo, FLIR and The Hartford.

After some years of design experience from working at agencies, Robin decided to take her career to the next level by starting her own business. Beginning slow with family and friends, she mainly worked on freelance projects.  Then good friend and past co-worker Bryan Dion informed her one day that he, too, was joining the freelance workforce. Bryan's amazing knowledge in the programming world and Robin's experience in design made for a great team!  So Jumpstart was born and officially opened for business, in 2007.

Rebeccah TrefethenStudent Intern/Aspiring Marketing Professional

Meet our newest addition to the Jumpstart family, our student intern, Rebeccah Trefethen.  She put together her own bio of thoughts and aspirations.  Take it away, Rebeccah and welcome aboard!

"I am a senior at Mount Hope High School, currently enrolled in marketing with experience in photoshop, and other visual arts. I'm very excited to apply to colleges this fall, and I hope to study Marketing, Media Communications, Interior Design and Economics. With these degrees I would love to work in Marketing for magazines specified in interior design (like Better Homes and Gardens) or TV Networks (like HGTV.)

I'm ecstatic to work with Jumpstart; Design, Development & Brand, so I can get the hands on-experience with marketing, as well as learning how to manage social media, and other forms of professional communications. I'm also eager to learn the in's and out's of running an online-based business, due to the growing job field regarding online marketing."
