Mental Food Plate

I had the pleasure of working with Robin Fecso of Jumpstart: Design, Development & Brand, who was able to take some of the broad ideas I had about a Mental Food Plate, and logo, and turn them into captivating works of art. She clearly has the “vision thing,” and it was remarkable to see an end result that perfectly captured the vibe of what I imagined in my head.

The difficulty at the outset with the Mental Food Plate is that it is a unique concept. By creating a design that is warm, accessible, and fun, Robin cleared the hurdle of confusion. The incorporation of utensils quickly sends a signal to the viewer that this is a food analogy to consider our information consumption in a similar manner. The subheading, “A Holistic Approach to Information Consumption,” allows for a quick understanding of what the Mental Food Plate is all about.

Robin is clearly a pro, and I look forward to working with her on additional projects in the near future. Robin is extremely organized, professional, and timely—traits that are rare for creative types.
